I also have the meanwell drivers, and the seem to dim a lot better. Very linear with the turning of the dimmer. I used the 12v for an ammeter. However, the power at the wall of the driver shot up more than expected.. So I stopped using it

That driver only outs out a measly ..250-300mA on the 12v I think. Do you find that when you dim with that driver, it's not consistent and it's like 100% bright with the knob halfway turned?

I've also noticed I don't get any stretch on 3k. Sounds like half the people who preach 4k-5k are just sheep who been reading about mh/hps too much. I'm one of the guys here who actually try to get stretch! I even dim each cob @ 25 watts and there's still not enough stretch for my liking...
