Yeah I've always wondered where the myth came from. I sort of chalked it up to a scenario where a new growers second grow is better then their first grow by sheer virtue of experience. But perhaps they attribute the better bud to a new technique they tried the second grow, perhaps the flush...

And just so i'm clear as well i'm not trying to make a case for either flushing or not flushing. I'm simply looking for answers. And again, the only real test I can find, is the one by RX green technologies. Which shows no difference in flush vs no flush.

I agree a plant can "eat" itself. But I think it goes further than that. You have to ask yourself what this has to do with smooth smoke? If the plant eats its leave to keep the buds alive. The leaves die and the buds would have the same amount of elements in it in order to be healthy...
