Last night I took the 250 hps back out as the weather's starting to get really warm down here and the heat was causing my bedroom to stay around 26C (80F) all night, with about 31C inside the closet (lights on 9pm-8am). This would have been nice for the plants with the added co2 from my lungs...

Thanks mate I'll check him out some time.. Quick update.. Last night after I posted in here I sprayed the jiffy with some 6.5 pH water, then as it was dripping off I decided to catch a few drops and test the pH.. was around 7. That's probably got something to do with why there's no roots yet...

Replaced some old rusty sheets of iron and ridging today.. had to boogey it up a bit and work with what I had.. doesn't really look the part but it's an old roof anyway and it's definitely not gonna leak. Gonna get painted soon so didn't have to be too pretty.
