no thats (about) 100K resistance. open = infinite resistance if the data isnt there youd have to try it

look at test reports. click on any driver model then select "reports" tab at the top http://www.meanwell.com/product/led/LED.html open dimmer circuit is the same as high resistance

those are hlg boards only ones branded samsung

both those look iffy, at least the first one has photometrics ("1.96 umol/W") you should ask them to back that up with test results

youd need to determine the actual flux its probably less than 200 real watts and very low on umol/J 400W of high efficiency light in a 3x3 is on the upper end of flux and might cause problems "400W" of 4 year old cheap china lights is prob 1/4-1/2 of the flux described above

ill never ever sell or rep uv diodes or tubes. too much chance for user error. you only get one set of eyes ill advise but dont want to be responsible for that scary enough to be responsible for noobs doing their first electrical project :/

im not sure what efficiency the tubes run at, but their output per $ is prob less than 10% of the LEDs the only advantages the LEDs would have is efficiency or cost but doesnt seem its there yet

CMH arent bad. they are fixed in efficeincy though. you buy 4 CMH for x dollars and y watts and thats what you got you buy LEDs for x dollars and your efficiency will be what it is. spend another 50% more or so upfront and youre efficiency will increase substantially "what will yield more" is...
