this makes no sense
radiant watts maybe, but as stated above not PAR watts
100 watts/SF of LED (at 50% system efficiency) is ~50 PAR watts
40 W/SF of LED is ~20 PAR watts or almost 1000 ppfd
most people run 35ish W/SF of LED to get 700-900 ppfd
OPs insane rig when dimmed down will be so...
thats correct. thats why i sell 48As and 54Bs but not 48Bs (voltage too low) or 54As (risk of voltage too high if too few cobs)
both 48A and 54B top out at 53-54V and are relatively foolproof with the ~50V cxm22 as well as citizen 1818 and 1825
naw only shitty ones
hlg and timber are both my competitors... but i have nothing but good things to say about them. because their gear is legit, with real photometrics.
this should go well
"ok i did the online documentation you asked for to get my free light"
"yeah but those guys totally eviscerated the gear"
"uhh.. not my problem? Make better lights next time and maybe you wont have to give them away for free?"
best to read a bit and then start a thread. this isnt the best place for that
50 w/SF is about 50% more than you need with efficient LEDs
you can do fine with one spectrum 3500k 80cri would be good
just a guess, that like many here, he is here to help his fellow grower and share useful info about what works, what doesnt, and most importantly, **why**, so people can learn and be empowered to make their own decisions
not sure about AU but in the US hydro stores mostly exist to sell stuff to people at exorbitant markup. many (if not most) look at their unit profit per fixture higher than their net benefit to the customer. As a result most are 1-3 steps behind on the current tech
if i didnt use rockwool and...
