in my opinion those are stretching a lil bit and with an open bulb like that you should be able to keep it closer to the plants, if you have a fan blowing around to prevent heat spots...i have plants that usually are on the 6 or 8th node by then like in this grow 2nd Grow organic - Marijuana...
