    Mag deficiency ?

i meant why do people go Gungho with the cal/mag and lockout their plants bruh. Not trying to rag on you for asking about cal/mag because a lot of the time people add way too much, IE they get horny about adding cal/mag thinking its gonna help. I dont assume PH is the always the issue either...

    Yellow leaves…..again. please help

I personally will not use coco with nutrient salts for that reason. I used to use organic amendments but id go on youtube and look up mr.cannuks grows. He covers growing in coco using organic amendments. Has some wicked content too.

    Mag deficiency ?

Magnesium is low, calcium is adequate. Adding magnesium once in a while won't hurt you. There is most likely magnesium in your medium though Since you've just transplanted so don't add any yet.

    Help, i added pics!

You're going to want to stop adding cal/mag. You don't need Co2 unless you're lights are powerful and you have high temp in your grow room. You should probably stick to one grow medium and learn about it instead of mixing two different ones. Stick to a simple feeding schedule and watering...

    Mag deficiency ?

Do not add cal/mag unless you are one of those guys that buys reverse osmosis water for the plants. Cal/mag is present in most tap water and spring water. Adding extra will cause potassium lockout.

    Mag deficiency ?

Why does everyone get so horny about adding Cal/mag? Lmao Edit: I fixed it so that my comment wouldn't be taken the wrong way by EXPERIENCED growers lol just razzin

    Yellow leaves…..again. please help

Coco is highly sensitive to PH. Just a little warning lol. If you go organic in coco make sure to PH your water to 6.5. Thats why i stopped using coco actually. My water is 7.7ph out of the tap so using organic soils to buffer the ph is more cost effective and takes less work. Something to chew...

    Yellow leaves…..again. please help

Drop the cal/mag altogether. Most water has calcium and magnesium present in sufficient quantities. Don't add the extra K or you'll run into toxicity issues. Just feed like normal and water like normal excluding the cal/mag and your issues should clear up.

    What's wrong with my plant?

I think that the problem is still PH. Calcium nitrate raises the PH and you are growing in rockwool which is naturally alkaline.I think you may have inadvertently locked out nutrients this way. your runoff is a little high at 6.8 for Rockwool. I'd lower the PH to 5.4 with every feeding. You...

    Yellow leaves…..again. please help

Looks like potassium deficiency due to magnesium toxicity.potassium deficiency starts from the bottom and works its way to the upper leaves. Potassium competes with the uptake of magnesium and vice versa. This is a common mistake people make. You can correct the issue but cutting out the cal/mag.

    My plant is yellowing

Magnesium toxicity can cause potassium deficiency.

Im looking for a device that can adjust the wattage of my lights.

This is true but I've seen mars hydro come out of a box saying 150w but it's only pushing 80w. There are adjustments i can make on the light fixture itself but i have no way of knowing how much im adjusting it by. I want to make sure they are all pushing out 150w at full power then i can dim...

If the first tiny one is getting better just leave it, try a light flush on the second one.

    2nd grow, need advice

I buy my test strips at walmart and they are fine. Aim for a ph of 6.5 to 7.0. Should get you in the optimal range.

    Nutrient lockout.

Nutrient lockout can be cause by: •An unbalanced PH. •Too much of one element. •Plant stress due to environmental factor(I.E overwatering, under-watering, extreme light stress, extreme temperature fluctuations, pests, ect). Nutrient lockout is often presented as a deficiency, making it easy for...

    My plant is yellowing

seems like the magnesium is too high. It will directly compete with potassium for uptake. Magnesium is present in tap water and usually doesn't need to be added. Try cutting out the magnesium next time you feed the plants.

    Pot Size

i started using nutrient salts but quickly got fed up of the work. Thats why i switched to organics. Let the microbes do the work and amend the plants as needed. Requires a bit more intuition though compared to hydro or even a nutrient salts soil grow.

    2nd grow, need advice

I wouldn't recommend increasing the strength of the nutrients. Just start feeding them like normal again. It's also important to look at the new growth for signs of deficiency or toxicity as the old leaves that are already damaged will stay that way.

Anyone have experience with a sulfur burner for pests?

The only advice i have for this is to check weather or not you can use sulfur without damaging your lights. My grow lights specially say to take em out of the grow space when using sulfur. Ya might want to look into that before going that route.
