Bagseed grow. 6 weeks veg. Gave it 30 hours of dark a few days ago and shifted to 12 hour light cycle since. These just popped overnight like. What am i looking at ? Some look like early calyxes while others look like balls

Out of curiosity, why ? His trichs are clearly turning amber in parts. Or is it the still white pistils ?

It’s one of my first grows dude and we’re talking high stress business here :D just thought i’d be wiser to ask before messing up a perfectly healthy baby..

While we're on the subject of harvesting, I was thinking if it was possible of clipping off the main colas since there's where I'm detecting most of the amber, while leaving the lower bud sites to mature a tad longer. Is this common practice and does it even work ?

It is easier indeed. Getting between that topmost node and the newest growth can be a tricky bitch, much higher risk of FIM-ing. Guess I'll give topping lower a shot, report back in a week or two when it's had time to recover :) you think sticking the clipped stalk straight into soil could...

Hey guys. So I was wondering can I choose at which node I make the cut ? I'm 4 weeks into veg and 7 nodes tall but thinking of topping everything above the 5th. Is that an option or do I HAVE to top ONLY the growth above the highest node ? Total noober question I know. Kinda odd no one has...

I'll have to look into that. Currently aiming for as little chemical interference as possible :cool: First grow although I've helped some peeps with theirs many a time :) hah ! makes sense I guess

Hey guys :) forum noob here. Been growing a couple of skunks on minimal homemade organic nutes (coffee grounds, eggshells, manure, banana peel tea etc..) in potted soil. I'm about 6 weeks into flowering and already seeing some amber trichs, which I would like kept at a minimum. I was hoping...
