18 inches is good for a plant in Veg. In flower mine get within 6 inches and occasionally touches the light. Manufactures recommendation is a good place to start. Watch them for stretch and heat stess. If there is stretch lower the light. If there is heat stress move the light back. :bigjoint:

The second picture there looks like there might be a ball but I may be wrong it's a little early to tell give it a few days. Look at the first one if you noticed all the balls stack up like grapes. That is a dead giveaway that it's a boy.

I put mine in the bottle of water in the flower tent 7 to 10 days tells me what it is. No need to root no need to veg, so long as the plant is mature enough. Toss cutting when you're done.

I agree with you Uncle Rico. When you spend a ton of money on nutrients you are just paying for the brand name. Hell if you wanted to you could use the raw salts and do it yourself.
