it's well water; i've just got this ppm meter less than 2 weeks ago & it came calibrated.
in this plant's res i have 2 airstones, in the other i have 1. you could only guess which one has grown better. so yes, i have pretty good air going.
if i raise my room temp. root rot starts showing once it gets to 69+. i don't have any insulation for my buckets, and i don't think i should be using insulation for them, as my temps would get too high, and grow rootrot.
neither concrete/wood floor, i'm on carpet. res temps vary the same exact...
wdym fresh water feed? is that the same as changing the reservoir? if so i've already done that 4-5 hours ago, i recon that the plants started to droop back down like normal once it was changed about 1 hour in they started to come down.
this almost confirms my friend's theory of deposits...
okay.
i'm starting flower today in hopes that i can maintain my nodes to only reach 12 inches, hoping they spring up, biased off your experience with purp frost, how many in do you think the nodes will get to be? they're (roughly)3in now.
cal/mag = my cal nit/epsom salt. i'll add about a gram or two more next res change
the strains called purple frosting.
it's a cross between the following
(purple punch x choc frosting)
choc frosting = (norcal do-si-dos x mint choc chip)
i've asked ALOT of questions to a guy that grows this...
purple viens are 1000% genetics. strain's connected to a load of purple phenos. strain's called "purple frosting". if you'd like the lineup i'll give it to ya.
they look fine now. i just got worried because i've never once seen my plants grow like that. i guess there's a first for everything.
i've grown in soil once before, then i was gonna do soil this run, then decided it'd take too long, and ended up doing hydro/DWC.
last grow i used FFOF amended with gypsum, and i used bigbloom/growbig/tigerbloom for my nutes.
to get this all out of the way;
this grow i'm using tap water, with...

my temps are 55-67F humidity at an obnoxiously low 10-25%.
i've never seen anything like this, and i've looked for answers and couldn't find any. if anyone needs more details about my grow, i'll throw them...
i'm looking at the same problem with vertical space i'm pretty sure. i don't want to flip them while they're stunted though, because i dont want time from stretch being taken out for some stupid growth stunt i caused
hey guys. update before a bigger update.
gonna have to push my plants into flower next week. i'm satisfied with how she looks atm, i thought this picture made her look her very best.
shows exactly how many nodes i have (16), my thick ass genetically purple stems.
the smell on her is amazing...
i'm confident my plant(s) will grow enough.. i think. the one plant i'm pretty positive is a male. which sucks because i trained a male but it's okay, just more practice. next time i'm gonna do 12/12 really early at first so that i can get my sex faster which worked with my purp frosting.
here's...
