    Breaker keeps popping

Are you using power to cool/dehumidify the air in your shed, then pushing the conditioned air right outside with that inline fan, and replacing it with hot, humid air that gets sucked back in from outside? What sort of lights are you using?

    Deficiency or Lockout?

If you top dressed there should be nutrients available, so it's probably a lockout issue. You mentioned molasses, tell us how you're using it. Molasses is really acidic, accumulates quickly in your pots and can cause pH issues leading to lockout.

    Dry amendments, mainlined green crack

2 tablespoons of all purpose mix per gallon of medium. So just shy of 1 cup for your 7 gallon pot. You could go all 4-4-4. Or half 4-4-4 and half 3-9-4. Or some cool custom ratio that seems good to you. I would personally also add 1/4 to 1/2 cup of azomite to the "base," initial transplant mix...

    1 gavita 1700e, or 2?

With 1 light you'll need to hang it pretty high and run it at full power to get decent coverage without burning your plants. Like you said, it will fall a little short of your two HPS lights. You're right, 2 lights will be slight overkill. So you'll dim them down a little bit. You'll be able to...

Constant moisture vs letting plants dry out

My soil goes from moistest right after I water, to least moist, right before I water again. But I'm definitely not trying to let my soil be dry between waterings. I think that makes microbes go dormant and causes weird swings in the soil and results in yellow, dead leaves Wet/dry cycles may be...

    Dehumidifier question

Yes, you can move the dehumidifier out of the tent, and into the grow room "outside" the tent. But if you're dehumidifying a bigger space you might need a bigger dehumidifier to deal with the larger volume of humid air. You mentioned an intake pulling air into your growing room. What's the...

    HLG 600 RSPEC, heat?

The heat from the led light is Nothing like the heat from a 1000 watt HPS. It's less hot that a 600 watt HPS. In my 4 x 4 tent I have to dim the HLG 600 because I can't keep it far enough above the plants to run at full strength. I'll admit dimming the LED light makes it run a little cooler...

Terp tea bloom 3-7-4, worm castings, & molasses for emergency top feed?

A tablespoon of Terp Tea Bloom top dressed then covered with a cup of worm castings will work Great. Just mix it in on top of your soil then water. If you do mess with the molasses, just use a little. Like a 1/2 teaspoon per gallon of water. Don't get worried, what you're planning will work...

How long in the curing process before the smell starts to return (on average)

In my experience it takes About a week for buds to "dry" (dry enough to burn) and About 2 weeks for the "cure." (chlorophyll/grass taste and smell to be replaced by dankness) Theoretically your buds could dry faster and take a little longer to cure, so these numbers are just a ball park. Big...

New Organic Grower - RO vs 2 stage filtration

No problem man. Regarding coco, I'm not super experienced with it, I've just seen pictures of Gia/Coco grows with burned up leaves. But if dudes growing in that style for awhile have narrowed potential problems down to watering and calcium/magnesium, their info is probably better than mine...

New Organic Grower - RO vs 2 stage filtration

Tim-tim, Don't fear chloromine, your microbes are tough, and even if the chloromine effects them, they bounce back quickly. And you can always rebuilt your microbe herd with more vermicompost. If you're concerned about brewing tea in the chloromine, add your molasses/kelp/fish to the water 24...

Adding air intake into grow room in a house

What about using some ducting and pulling fresh air in from the other side of the basement? Or adding your intake somewhere outside of the concrete room, where it will be easier, then ducting it into the grow area? Going all the way up through your roof may be a little much. Is there some way...

Is their any way to make organic nutrients more readily available for my plants?

The other guys touched on the major stuff. Keep a strong group of microbes going to digest your amendments. Use compost or worm castings top dress, or Recharge or Tea something every couple of weeks to get more bacterias. You can use a couple (like 2) Teaspoons of Molasses per 5 gallon bucket...

    Do these plants look overfed?

Yeah, just a little too much. You can see the dark green color, a little discoloration on the very tips of some leaves, and some twisting and curling here and there. If your plants get too much nitrogen they have to divert some energy from growing and direct it to breaking down the extra...

    Peruvian Seabird Guano Tea

Is that the old recipe kicking around from Spaceship Farmer? This is a "Nutrient Tea,"for N-P-K, not a "compost tea" for Microbes. Remember, he says to cut it with water because it will be Hot. Even if it's not that old recipe, it still looks Real strong and I would definitely not use it full...

Would compost tea pair well with bottled nutrients? Or no go?

In the past people said this was a huge No No, and that the bottled stuff would annihilate your soil. But now it's a Brave New World and people say that soil microbes are much, much tougher than we though and it will work. I would alternate feeding and compost, so if you do mess up your...

    Insect Frass?

Chitin is supposed to help your plants resist fungus, mold and some pests. Along with silica and calcium it's part of a chemical free pest prevention So if it's really, really working you're plants may not look much different, but you don't get mold or bugs. Which can be a huge benefit to you...

Has anybody built a sealed room with Panda/Orca paper

I've made partitioned areas or close off tents with Orca Paper. They did the job but they weren't sealed or tight or anything. Orca paper is good, it's heavy duty and can be used over and over. A few cheap adjustable clamps make building the frame way, way easier.
