    free electricity

For the OP: You might be surprised to find out what constitutes a "Legal Grow". In California, a grower needs explicit permission from a Landlord in order to grow MMJ on the premises. Somebody feel free to correct me if I'm wrong!

Best Yield Possible Under CA MM Laws

Except for the Fed's, I think that's exactly what it means! The Po-po and the Judicial System don't really have to agree; they just have to abide by what the Doc reccomended. Here, in California, the various County "Guidlines" that allow someone to grow "x" number of MMJ plants have been...

Is it legal to cut someones plants if they grow on your property?

I'm not so sure that eviction is the right way to go - wether, or not, they are actually residing there. I don't know about the OP's state, but in California (at least) a Renter must have the expressed permission of the Landlord in order to "legally" grow. Now with that being said, I'm not...

    Regular Seeds

Here's the thing about 50-50 odds: It doesn't mean 1 out of 2, it doesn't even mean 5 out of 10. Even at 50 out of 100, you're just starting to approach a reasonable sample size. Here's what I'm getting at, (on average) if you flip a coin 100 times and keep track of the results, six coins...

Best Way to Harvest and Cure

Let me spell it out for you. What Krypto is referring to, is "The Harvesting and Curing Forum" (from back on The Grow Room page). Harvesting and Curing is down at about tenth place on the list of forums - there are many, many more (trust me!). General Marijuana Growing is only the first...

Newbie with some questions about ph!!!!

Whatever the pH of the water/nute solution is, thats only one part of the bigger picture! You need to water it into the soil and measure the pH of the run-off - thats the the actual, final, pH (the pH that the plants live in). The pH of the water/nutes is only important as it relates to the...

Best way to dispose of plant?

Take everythiung you want to get rid of and "stuff" it into a small box. Then wrap it up to look like a birthday present. If you leave the package "carelessely" unattended in a public place - it will disappear soon enough!

    lighting HELP!!!

Gentley moving the plant in & out wont cause stress, but you need to be as regular as clockwork. If you creat a "Haphazard Random Photoperiod", that could cause stress!

    SCROG tucking question

Over and under, it's like sewing or weaving! The whole idea is to get the plant tangled up in the screen (that adds support to the plant). If the plant is allowed to stay, entirely, under the screen, you wind up with a broad canope that cannot support itself.

    Really?

I think that advertising still has the ability to make some people believe almost anything! Here is my advice - when it comes to somone trying to sell you something - don't believe anything you hear, and only about half of what you see with your own eyes!

    Stink issue

Carbon filter construction is not Rocket Science. You can build your own for a few bucks, just look in the DIY section or Google "diy carbon filter".

    Pruning for Larger Yields

Thank you, Uncle Buck - that's what I'm talking about! Pruning can appear to increase the yield because you can manipulate the yield into bigger (more impressive) colas. The over-all yield hasn't really increased, it's just more concentrated and noticeable.

    Pruning for Larger Yields

My solar panel array doesn't give enough output. If I remove a few panels - do you really think the output will increase? That's why nobody promotes this idea. There are other (legitimate) reasons to prune, but increasing yield is not one of them!

    Tap Water High in Calcium?

Calcium is one of the three secondary nutrients - you should be good to go!

    Music promote growth?

As was mentioned earlier, it's not so much the music as it is the "exhaled co2" from all the singing along. But if you really want to make the thing pop - make yourself one of those tinfoil hats to wear while you'r in there! Sorry, please forgive me, I couldn't resist. Vibratons in the air...

My seeds just came and were in transit for about a month can I put them in the fridge

Seeds will last for "several" years at typical room temperature, in the dark, with normal household humidity. I prefer paper envelopes for storage, because you can store hundreds of seeds each - from many strains - and it doesn't take up much space. Plus, you can make notes right on the...

    Alternating From Seed?

It's called "Poly-ploid" or "Polyploid", that is the condition of having "extra" branches. As far as having alternating nodes from the git-go - I GOT NOTHIN'.

    Nitrogen!

I'm pretty sure that most people would agree - Hitler was much worse! He knew exactly what he was doing. Most of his "followers" never saw the "Big Picture" till after WW II. Why do you think he built a "Concentration Camp" in Auschwitz, Poland instead of Frankfurt, Germany? Hmmm

How Much Water Should I Give My Plants?

Let me comment about what I said back in post #9. I wasn't suggesting that "it was the right thing to do" - and therefore eveybody should just do it (no matter what). I was just making the point that there is a good, logical, reason for it. Obviously, if someone has a reason to avoid...
