That is the reason most people use calmag yes, because HARDNESS HAS BEEN REMOVED BY RO. It gives the plants the calcium and mag they would get from hard water but in a purer more available form administered at a consistent controllable dose.

    Reusing hydroton

Soak in high% H2O2 or dilute bleach, rinse in strainer of some kind; I drilled holes into the bottom of a 20 gallon tote and spray with a hose for the rinse. If you want use hygrozyme for first few weeks in case of extra root material, but for me small amount of root matter after soaking and...

    Light/heat burn and mag def?

I usually try to get all those discolorations worked out before the flip. Youre pretty much there, so you could flip. Id top, prune small lower leads and a lot of the lower scruff off (I prefer bonsai/bush.) And if you have the time : Give them a little "rest" for a couple days(raise light high...

3 second google search yielded: Does a TDS meter measure hardness? Total dissolved solids (TDS) refers to a measure of all inorganic solids dissolved in the water. This means that it will measure ions that contribute to water hardness, tike calcium, but also those that do not, like sodium...

After reading through that regurgitated mumbo jumbo in the link, it only states it has a HARD TIME removing hardness, not that it cant. Basically you're saying, if my RO water comes out 3 PPM, it actually has more than 3 PPM of calcium and magnesium? 3 second google search yielded: Does a TDS...

Drain to waste auto watering system pot size?

4 plants in 2 gal pots will work fine for basic setup; you can go .5-1 gal pots if you want to feed more often. For reference I've pulled 9.5oz off a 5"pot(less then 1/2 gal) before and can pull 2lbs in a 4 gal pot regularly, but both are fed many times a day with the drip.

    Co2 Generator

Do not vent with co2, run closed loop. Or vent at night only. Shroom bags are only garbage because they're made by scammers. No placebo behind science, mycelium produces co2 and consumes some o2 or it dies. The actual mushroom frutbody consumes alot of 02 as well as producing c02. If levels of...

Coir has minimal nutes (only what is added during charging) and has very high O2 levels; will probably work better than soil. Dont feed with kelp or itll be too strong, just dip freshly cut branch in it. Once in dome dont need to do anything until there are roots. Can mist/H2O once at 5-9 days...

Solo cups are big, it can work as long the the temperature in the media is at 78-82F. No aloe, use liquid kelp. It works great as a natural rooting stimulant. Straight OMRI coco, about 25-50watts of florescent for the whole flat, or 13-25watt for half flat, like pictured.

When I joined this forum I read alot of the recent posts, and I felt most of them had claims and tips of getting 1.5-2lb per light in them. Not sure how you missed it tbh. Renfro right away in one of the threads posted about it, and his grow posts show what to do. There are others too. Veg for...

10 years of daily experience in all sizes and type of grow ops, including a singlespan $10,000,000 4 acre hydroponic greenhouse. I do go overkill on light, but why not? Im a legal grower, my bills can be high and there's no issue... Right now not concerned with how many watts, I want to see how...

Cut branch about 4-5" tall, trim off all nodes and leaves except top2 or 3, trim 1/3 of leaf tips off. Dip in OMRI listed liquid kelp, make hole with chopstick, place into coir; let the stem come out of the bottom so there is 1/2" coming out the bottom/in open air (this is where rooting starts...

Someone understands how to get to the point on this thread! In essence yes, compared to all those expensive cloner units I get as good if not better results. Could save people $100's of dollar, thought would be beneficial to share (something that saves $100's and roots in 4-8 days and can be...

I thought that was already covered on this forum, but I haven't seen a clean cloning method that roots in 4-8 days and costs pennies.
