Aeroponic cloning question - Scraping Clone?

It depends on the air temperature but assuming youre around 78-85F range, then water temps around 68-72F. Pretty much the reverse of if you're rooting with plugs on heat mats hah. Warmer air, cooler roots for aero. Dont cut now, minimize stress for them; I would wipe the goop off though. I did...

Aeroponic cloning question - Scraping Clone?

In warm temps this is a great idea that works well. With aero cloning you actually want cooler root temps, as opposed to rooting in a substrate. Should be good now, just watch that goop and the H2O temps.

5 gal Bubble hash machine tips?

Bubble can produce a great product. Best cuts I've ever taken were from clean dab rigs with bubble. Machine it for 5-10 min, do 2 or 3 batches, save the leftover plant material for butter, or an ethanol extract (if you have a distiller.) The grating and drying process is so important for the...

Aeroponic cloning question - Scraping Clone?

Haha, that animal is super ripped! Those LED tubes are super weak, put 6-12" above might be enough. Also you can slim down those cuts next time if you want. I leave the top node and 1 or two below it, and trim off the rest. Cut %40 of the leaf blades off and trimmed to 3-4" tall; OMRI kelp...

Why change water in hydro system?

I worked in a 4 acre hydroponic greenhouse that used raceway style dwc. They never changed out their water even over the course of 3-5 years. This was attained using extremely high volumes of nutrient solution over what is normally used, and sending in the nutrient solution of each of the 10...

    Best ph pen >$200

Most ph probes need to be replaced every 6-12 months; similar to the timing of HID bulb life. Ive had good with a bluelab combo for over 5 years; just replace ph probe on schedule

    Net before or after?

Either works, depends on what youre using it for. If only to hold up flowers then week 3-4 in flower; if to spread out growth then earlier. I dont scrog in veg because I have different veg and flower rooms so moving a bush in a 10 gal pot with sceen is not feasible. Also my plants only fill...
