Those will be some nice crosses. I'm hoping to do a SFV backcross at some point using strayfox's tres valley (SFV x Tres Dawg)

    Transplanting autoflowers

In my opinion, autos are very container dependent. Once their roots sense they are out of room, it triggers a response (100% my own theory bro-science here...) that says, "Ok, this is all the room I have, let's switch gears now." So the trick is getting them out of those solo cups before that...

the longer flowering ones will absolutely blow your hair back. My keeper is acceptable at 11 weeks, but she is next-level if I can keep her happy all the way to 13 weeks.

Take anything on the market that is NL5 seeds with a big grain of salt. NL5 started as a seed line nearly 40 years ago. From what I've seen, the best seeds with any old NL5 actually in them are made with older NL5 cuts that are still in existence. Strayfox, Bodhi have released things fitting...

    Anyone try "Delicious Candy" strain?

I've got those freebies, Delicious Candy, Sugar Black Rose and something else can't remember. I got them with the Critical x Jack and Critical x NH I bought. Glad to hear those freebies are decent, doubtful I'll ever run them though. I actually haven't ran Delicious anything yet, but since...

    She is too tall

She looks lanky by nature. This is one you'll need to pull out all the stops. Top her/tie her down, but also clip the ends until you're near ready to put her into flower. Prune lowers, especially thin wispy branches.

    Is this just bad genetics?

Not trying to take away from that, but to some degree at least, HLVD was blown out of proportion by labs and seed banks looking to profit off it. For the average new grower that stumbles on the topic, top google hits are largely paid for by those labs and seed banks... jes sayin'. That said, yes...

    US seed banks

I recently read something about how the English think Americans are strange for always using the term "British" because it's like Americans referring to themselves as "North American." Sorry for assuming. Whereabouts you from?

    US seed banks

legalization hasn't exactly been great for everyone. Just ask the CA farmers how rec has worked out for them. I am skeptical of rescheduling at the federal level, the fear being it's going to hand the industry over to big corpos and big pharma.

    In House Genetics Thread

Whoever has the prettiest pictures and most IG followers is what sells these days unfortunately. The best you can hope for is that they even bothered to test their seeds. But mostly it's a shuck 'em and f**k 'em (us, the consumer) mentality.

    Humboldt Seed Company (HSC) Thread

I agree, known genetics that throw some sterile nanners isn't a big deal. I think it's just funny/ironic for them to go on and on about the advantages of triploids only to have the internet call them out on a hermie problem that smacks of untested seeds. Like listen to all this science... and...

    Humboldt Seed Company (HSC) Thread

Triploids supposedly won't pollinate a normal plant, but can pollinate themselves, at least I think that's how it works. Either way, sure sounds untested to me. And adding the "RECOMMENDED FOR OUTDOOR USE ONLY" sure sounds like a dig/scapegoat to blame indoor growers for their lack of...
