I would say yes. I bought the HLG40 4000K to replace a 2' 4 bulb T5 I had for veg\clones it was suposta be a 80 watt fixture. The 40 blows that T5 outta the water my plants love the LED...

Mebbe I should crack some Bohdi beans run them outside this year too.. I have Buddhas Hand, Hash Plant, Snow Lotus and some free GLG gear that's pretty good..

Any those strain's should do good outside I say go for it. I'm flowering out the ladies I listed above a quick reveg out side they go. I also took clones to put in another spot.

If using stranded wire tin the ends for wago and board connections that's how I run mine. As pop22 pointed out that solid core can be frustrating to work with.

Just leave them be no need for gas exchange so I would leave the dome on 24/7. The best thing you can do is be patient I know it's nerve rackin but trust me you will see roots when the plant is ready. Mucking about with them only adds to the stress they are already under.

pop22 Nice I should have converted my T5! I ordered the HLG 40 for my clone / seedling light it replaces some POS florescent fixture I had to buy in a pinch.

Those degrading genetics can be somewhat reversed, spring time sun and air can help with genetic drift. If you have a place to put one of the clones outside let it veg basking in the springtime sun for a month then take clones off that plant.. Try it it works
