Looking to blackout a bred room with windows, does anybody have a recommendation for a cheap roll of blackout material or what do other people use to blackouts a window? Thanks!

Too many to choose from, about to say screw it and buy a Truncheon but before I do that I’d like to see what people are using on the cheap that is reliable.

I don’t PH until I need to start bottle feeding, using Megacrop at the moment.

5.5 was just a number I came up with, say I add everything and I drop to 5.5, would using ph up to get up to 6.5 throw my EC way off again. Luckily these forums are very useful and I got my answer, good looking out though. Soil by the way.

I like to over think things that I’m unsure about. Basically just wanted to make sure it was as simple as PHing the nutrients after reaching my correct EC level without anymore adjustments like playing tag with my EC and PH. Puts my mind at ease to know it’s that simple and not a science project...

So reach my desired PPM and PH the nutrients like I normally would? In short I’m just making sure that’s all it comes down to and there’s isn’t anymore adjusting I should know about. Simply add nutrients until my desired EC, ph that and done?

long story short I was battling with deficiency’s due to ph lockout while using PH water drops, decided to invest in a solid PH pen and realized how far off and inaccurate the drops were, plants are bouncing back with lush green new growth which got me thinking about getting more accurate...

Ph going in is between 6.2-6.4 I use the fresh water dropper and seems to be fairly accurate, perhaps it’s time switch to a pen because even being a newbie I know something else is going on here. Could very well be lockout since I’m up to 4g per gallon without a slight change in fading.

Thanks man. It’s fun, I love learning to grow. I hate asking for help, glad I did though otherwise I probably would have increased feeding, this little bit of advice alone probably saved this entire tent. Edit: Anybody that is curious these are under a 4200k 315w CMH.

Could very well be possible. When I put them in the 2 gallon pots they didn’t wilt for over a week so I didn’t water them, I thought that was strange. Something to consider thank you.

2-3 times. Still learning with Megacrop and people will even start seedlings at 1g per gallon every watering which is what I’ve been giving. If it is a toxicity I’m guessing even with the light feed the Ocean forest was too hot. What options do I have without flushing?
