    Time lapse photos

Here we go. Mind you the quality isn't great, and I was bumping the camera a bit, so I built a stand to keep it still. Switching to flower soon, I'm excited to see how that looks! Sorry, I still need to pay to upgrade to 720/1080p exports, only in 540p right now.

I already said why. Why even comment?

Skyflow. The only thing I wish it had was a way to turn the screen off, or keep it fully dimmed at least. Costs $3.99 for the full version, but the free one still allows exports in 720p. Unless there’s a better app, I’ll proabbly just buy this one.

    Time lapse photos

Very nice! I was going to put a camera in there to monitor them, but I’ve only got a 3x3 foot tent, so not really much room. Here was my first time lapse, of about 2 and a half days. Didn’t bother editing this one, but I’ll cut out the nighttime shots eventually and add day markers. Oops, I...

Just figured this out, going to get a tripod and hopefully waterproof case for my old iPhone! Thanks

    Time lapse photos

I’m looking at setting up a camera to do a time-lapse of my tent. I think it would be neat, and even useful to compare between grows. From what I read, I’ll need an intervalometer and a camera. I found a couple intervalometers on amazon.ca(I’m in Canada), but they say compatible with only...

    Lux vs PAR meter

I thought you can only convert from cfl or fluorescent, and not LED. Also, is the free cob considered the same as fluorescent or led? I know colour temp is closer to cfl/fluorescent. Thanks!

    Lux vs PAR meter

hey guys, so I’m wondering about using a lux vs PAR meter. I read a while back that there’s is some conversion for CFL/ fluorescent light when using lux, but that it doesn’t work with the blue/redLEDs. What I’m wondering is, would a 3500k CREE COB be able to do this type of conversion, since...

    COB/LED Upgrade

My bad, it just says IR on the light, but it says 730nm right beside it lol Ok, so I don't think I really would need that on my next light then eh?

    So what is 730nm considered?

    COB/LED Upgrade

Makes sense, I just thought it wouldn't spread as far out. Then again, I've never owned a dimmable light anyways. I'm not sure why, but I always thought there was some benefit to using IR and UV. This is the light I have right now, and it uses 5 pieces of IR. No UV, but from a quick google...

    COB/LED Upgrade

My main concern with dimming them would be the coverage, and was thinking I may need to add in a second one. Again, I could be entirely wrong, that's why I'm asking on here! The CREE COB fixture is completely dimmable. My main concern now is whether or not I need to add some type of UV and IR...

    COB/LED Upgrade

Only problem is when I'm going to be running out of room, dimming the light doesn't seem like an option, since it will be during flower when I start to run out of space. And dimming the lights in flower seems all wrong!

    COB/LED Upgrade

Ok, so what type of board would be able to be closest to the canopy? With 20” from the lights, I can grow roughly 3 foot plants, which is good enough for me

    COB/LED Upgrade

And aren't the CREE COB's supposed to be the top of the line? Also, should I be adding any supplemental blue, red, IR, and/or UV light when using COBS?

    COB/LED Upgrade

So what would you recommend for a 3'x3' area? https://www.horticulturelightinggroup.ca/collections/all/products/260w-qb-v2-led-kit or https://www.horticulturelightinggroup.ca/collections/all/products/260w-qb-v2-rspec-led-kit Also, what is the difference between these two, and what type of...

    COB/LED Upgrade

Where would I look into getting these? I'm in Canada, if that makes a difference. Super interested in the high CRI values of the COB. Which lights are recommended though, 3500k? Thanks again EDIT: I found these CREE COB's on amazon, price seems high though...

    COB/LED Upgrade

Sorry, I meant to include this info. It’s a 3x3’ area, tent is 6’ tall, so I don’t want to have to place them too far from the canopy. It’s a soil grow, organic no till in a 30”x30x16” bed, around 65 gallons. The vipars are around 260 and 140 actual watts. I know both together are just under...

    COB/LED Upgrade

I currently have a 600W Viparspectra LED for veg, and I add another 300W Viparspectra during flower. I'm interesting in upgrading to something stronger, possibly COB's. But I'm a but confused on what to get, and how to set them up. Could use some input, what do you guys all find works best?

Recycled Organic Living Soil (ROLS) and No Till Thread

I have some chamomile seeds as well, I’ve heard that can be a good companion/cover crop. And if I got a few flowers it might look nice too lol
