How high above the canopy did you have the light?

I have a qb 260 in that size tent, personality I think it’s the right size and the perfect amount of light.

This is what I’m working on for next season.

Here in vt we can only flower two plants at a time legally so that has changed how I run. I used to do swamp tubs with photosensitive stuff harvesting mid aug early sept. To beat the weather. Now I’m trying to stay legal with two larger plants.

Do you guys have any suggestions on stable mold resistant strains for this area? I was thinking that gms was what I was looking for but can’t say I want to put my eggs in that basket after hearing a bit more about them.

I know a few of you in this thread have grown getaway mountain gear this year. I'm in Vermont and seriously considering ordering some beans from them. Anyone care to chime in with first hand experiences now that the season has concluded?

A year ago when I first was looking into led I was quite intimidated. Probably would have jumped on those tubes. However running a few wires no longer scares me.

very interesting. Seems that a lot less wattage is required than I had been assuming.

With the limited headroom on each level I would be concerned that that might be too short to light the edges? Would 50w per level really be enough?

I got mine pre assembled from grower lights .com as I was unsure about doing it myself. After taking it out of the box I realized how easy it was to diy. If you can put 6 LEGO blocks together you can assemble a hgl kit in 5 min!
