Harvested flower tastes horrible. Dried too fast? Too many nutes late bloom?

Yea, I didn't hear about GH being used in soil until I looked it up a few weeks ago. I thought I had remembered a grower mentioning the salts would deposit and cause problems, but perhaps that was bs.

    Strawberry cough photos

Yep! You got that right. I left the tent open for a night, so it got a random 24 hour day in its flowering cycle. I got around 50 seeds in total.

Harvested flower tastes horrible. Dried too fast? Too many nutes late bloom?

Hey! Thanks for all of your comments. This was all insightful. I didn't know that jarring early affects the flavor. I wanted my hang dry to last around 10-14 days, so 6.5 was a little bit off the mark. I am using big mama rockwool cubes and pouring nutrient water solution on the tops of them...

Harvested flower tastes horrible. Dried too fast? Too many nutes late bloom?

The humidity in the jars is right at 62 percent, so I don't think I need to add boveda humidity packs yet (I have some). Part of my love for smoking weed is the terpene profile. I like the fruity flavors and that is as important to me as the effects. I am currently jobless so I cant be smoking...

Also, here are some photos of the strawberry cough to look at, just because I feel bad about asking questions while offering nothing to the community.

Harvested flower tastes horrible. Dried too fast? Too many nutes late bloom?

Hi all. I just had my buds trimmed and put into jars for curing about 2.5 weeks ago. The drying happened too quickly (6.5 days). I sampled a bowl from the jars today, and the flavor is harsh, and reminds me of the bad quality brick weed from high school. Funny enough, the flavor of the smoke...

Photoperiod interrupted darkness - Tent left open for 10 hours of dark cycle day 46 of flowering.

Yea I agree! Also, with some further research, it looks like the photo I attached that I thought was a male flower is actually in fact a female flower, as there is a pistil coming right out of the tip. The seed production points to a nanner happening at some point, as my seeds are feminised. I...

So no nanners i can find just yet, but i did find seeds starting in every other bud. Also, found sacs, i think. Should i just chop and dry now?

Photoperiod interrupted darkness - Tent left open for 10 hours of dark cycle day 46 of flowering.

Hi all. As you can see from the title, I made the mistake of leaving my tent open all night in a room with bright lights. There were 4 t5 flourescent lights vegging other plants in the room just outside the tent, so they definitely noticed this photoperiod disruption. The good news is that...

Looking for tips on timing of flushing during flowering.

Thanks for all of your input. Jonda- I read the trial and I think I'll put all of my focus into drying and curing conditions, and NOT flushing. Thanks again Ya'll!

Spidermites and empty tent for next run

When vegging your next plants, treat with neem oil every handful of days (4 days ish). Also, make sure your temps dont go above 80 degrees. If you keep your temps down, the little eggs that are smaller than grains of hands are less likely to hatch. You will not successfully remove every egg from...

Looking for tips on timing of flushing during flowering.

Ah okay. If my leaves aren't nute burning, then does that probably mean I'm not overfeeding? Should I decrease nutrients towards the ends of the grow?

Looking for tips on timing of flushing during flowering.

Hi all! I am currently growing 2 strawberry cough plants under 400 watts. I am into day 28 of flowering, and things are looking great. I've heard that the timing of flushing is dependent on intuition, and the appearance of the flowers including the trichomes. I am looking to flush the last 2...
