Xtsho, I realize how stupid my "fluctuations" comment was, thanks for pointing it out!!!

I will keep my clones separate from now on. Thank you! I have a scrog on it already, the plants just grew right past it, I kept tucking them into it the net but they overcame it in a few days. The scrog is in there...somewhere, about 10" down... I think I am past the training days, I need to...

@macsnax, @Ryante55, @rkymtnman, I never realized the plants were so sensitive to light fluctuations like that. Wow. Ok, I will take some more clones, then hack down the plants and start over. Thanks everyone!!!

Thank you xtsho, Good thinking!!! I do have some clones under a 20 watt LED light, about 10 feet away, this is on 24 hours. Could this be stopping the flowering? If this is true, I feel like total dunce...

During the summer I use silica on all my plants and this helps them cope with the heat.

I don't have much control over the humidity here, it is always low, but this doesn't seem to effect any of my other plants, like lettuce and tomatoes...

I don't have any pics. The temp is ambient temps so during the summer it was 80+ and now it is 70+ day and 60 at night. I don't know what rh is, pH perhaps? this runs between 5.5-6.5, usually around 6.2 Nutrients are Masterblend, Calcium nitrate, and Magnesium sulfate 20-18-36 Medium is a...

Hello all, I have a question, I have a few high CBD plants growing (50:50 and 20:1 CBD:THC) and they just seem to be taking their sweet time. I have been growing them since June and it seems like they just take forever to grow, which I now know the reason for and have remedied. This is my first...

    PPM Question

I use a modular Dutch bucket hydro system. Instead of all the buckets being attached to a single reservoir, each bucket is attached to its own reservoir. Kratky for lettuce and greens. Dutch bucket for tall plants. The Dutch bucket systems get fed with each watering cycle, which for my climate...

Pro way to mix powdered nutes

I like to use the stir plate so I can mix up "concentrated" batches while I am doing other things. It just makes life easier. I can put the calcium nitrate in there, walk away for a moment take care of something and when I come back its mixed, then I can add the other parts and those mix pretty...

    PPM Question

Hello Xtsho, Thank you for the reply. I agree the "grow boss" is a salesman. I just use silica because it gets so hot here in the summer, otherwise the plants wilt during the day from the heat. I use it on everything, lettuce, bok choy, basil, otherwise they wilt because it gets like 85 degrees...

Pro way to mix powdered nutes

What nutes are you using? If it uses Calcium nitrate, you need to sometimes mix this with warm water first before anything else otherwise no matter how much stirring you do, it ain't gonna mix... I use a cheap $40 stir plate I got off of Amazon, it works with 600ml beakers and 1 pint mason jars.

    PPM Question

Hello Budman111, Thank you for your response!!! Can you suggest a good ppm schedule? I use a commercial fertilizer so I don't go by tsp, or ml of fertilizer, I measure it all in grams dry weight which allows me to almost pinpoint the ppm or EC. The fertilizer is 20-18-36 (Masterblend + Calcium...

    PPM Question

Hello all, I have a question about PPM… I have been using the “grow bosses” 75ppm each week and to be honest my plants look thin and tired. None of my plants have grown to it’s full potential; they are nice but small for 7 weeks. The plants grow slowly until about 525ppm is given but by this...
