tells you how many disolved solids are in the water (TDS=Total Disolved Solids) and thats the PPM(Parts Per Million). That way you never have to worry about over fertilizing. you test the nutrients before you pour it in, then test the run off and keep flushing until both values are close. This...
see if you had a TDS meter you could find out what your nutrient stregth truely is, and flush your plants until they are what they should be at. Then they are never stunted and they grow a lot faster and healthier
Just buy one off ebay, its like 30 bucks and then you never guess at nutrients. I flush every week with water, then flush with nutrients. no salt buid up. never burnt. never deficient. If you get that down growing becomes fun again :hump:
your flood lights are going to be red spectrum so its good for flower. what spectrum are your 40 watters? any way you look at it, you have enough watts for veg, but you want quite a bit more for flowering, like twice that at least
Good bacteria for the soil that help break down old matter and fight bad bacteria. it also makes the roots feel more at home, it works well with that piranha micro-fungus
spider mites arent yellow, they are black and they eat your leaf. are the yellow things bugs or a fungus? do they move? is it killing the plant or is it just there?
lol i ment your pee is full of waste, and your plants run off has wasted salts in it. get rid of all the stuff its not using and flush with a new nutrient mix
Ya, i failed for a long time before i got it. I gotta tell you, the end of my pain was a TDS meter. when you stop guessing on the nutrient levels, you stop guessing whether or not your plants will live
