Yeah, I noticed it's a little wide, I was thinking maybe lining with newspaper even? Even if I did it would still be more efficient than a bunch of small cardboard boxes (my current method for small buds lol).

Sounds like flushing was the right thing to do. It also sounds like they may be wanting some Nitrogen. I would put their veg nute back in the schedule, at about half strength. Remember - it takes awhile for changes to show.
