    leavein my plants

You can set up a system of tubes hooked up to a timer that bring water to your plants (if you have the money and effort to spare). Otherwise, have you ever tried those aquaglobes? I use them for other houseplants sometimes and I like them, but I've never used them on my girls. Maybe, if you...

Reporting live from North Korea!!! soil??

I'm pretty sure North Korea has discovered the internet by now, guys. Their first internet cafe opened in 2002 and they have cell phones there as well (from China). If you are a risk-taker then take your chances. As far as your soil mix goes, it sounds like a good one.

    underground grow idea

And you can place a shed over it, that way your neighbors only see you go into a shed and not a trap door. And if your shed is found, they probably wouldn't think to look under it, anyway.

    underground grow idea

I would be concerned about getting fresh air in there. Plants need the air surrounding them to be replaced every 5-10 minutes. Otherwise, I think it's a really novel idea. I would definitely line the hole with a pond liner or something and then covering the lining with mylar. I don't...

.: Plant vitality+, Have you tried this? :.

I've tried neem oil on other plants in the past with much success. It's great because it's very effective at suffocating the mites. It doesn't do much to the eggs though, so you'll have to reapply in a few days, then in a week and then in one more week to be sure. I have noticed that once...

.: Plant vitality+, Have you tried this? :.

Hmm, what is says SOUNDS good. Maybe too good. I personally, don't know of anything you can spray on plants while they're heavy into flowering and I noticed that product stated that it can be used for veg or flower. However, if you're still in veg or just switched to flowering, if it were...

my plants not got strong smell and its starting to bud

agreed, low smell is in some plants genetics. Also, if the humidity in your grow room is low, there will be much less of an odor. I live in a dry climate and experience the same thing. Can I ask, though, why are you feeding with plant food everyday?? Are you watering every day?

    Bud doesn't smell???

Well it looks great for working with no nutes, especially. I think it's just the low humidity. Odors get trapped in the water molecules hanging out in the air, fewer water molecules= less odor.

    I need an expert eye

I didn't see any close-up views- can you tell what the hairs look like? If they're ~60% orange/red/brown then I think your timing is good. If more than 1/2 are still looking pretty milky white, I'd hold off for another week. Your plant looks very mature and the hairs would be the only thing...

    sealing the room

I use duvatine (it's a black fabric used for lots of things, the film industry uses it on set to block out light) to block any light from coming through and if there are any other light/air leaks, I simply use tape. Gaff tape is black and the adhesive is just right for textures like walls and...

    Preflowers Already??

Hey all, My plants are 6 weeks old tomorrow and started showing me preflowers yesterday. Still too early to determine sex. The nodes are starting to alternate as well. Some are 8 inches tall and the tallest one is 14 inches. Also, their stems seem to be starting to lean a bit after their...

    Bud doesn't smell???

If your humidity is on the lower side like mine (I'm working with ~25% rH), then the smell will be less intense. Also, do you know what strain you have? I know that some strains emit fairly low odors and are great for apartment growers, while others are stinky no matter what you do. Your...

    Music and Plants

I also like to tell them that they're beautiful, smell good, I'm proud of them, etc. And I figure, that affection and reassurance can only help them grow. Why not? Anyone out there play the harmonica for their girls?

Sounds like all positive feedback. I'll keep doing it then! For the last few weeks, I've been playing: "Heart Sutra" the Sanskrit version when I wake them up in the morning (it's a nice way for me to wake up too). I found it on youtube. When I water them I play rainforest sounds (with no...

    Mystery spots- Please Help! Pics

I've had spider mites on leafy plants before in other houses. There are no bugs, no wispy webs, no eggs, nothing to suggest bugs. Besides, spider mites would most certainly go for the other 5 plants sharing that closet. I've been scratching my head for days trying to figure it out.
