I have the same size res but i'ts a dwc where the nets hang down into the res six plants and it's fill half way wilth a top notch cheap fish pump made for a 60 gallon tank plenty of bubbles plus the plants are also top fed continues.

same here the fam likes it how long can you store R O water and does it have to be completely sealed or what i'm confused and the manual don't say nuthing.

if you pre mix your perlite and soil you should be ok sorry i'm in hydro never done soil but know plenty about it I've just never come accross this problem.

mine poped roots at 7 days and I'm talkin seriouse roots 7 days after poped in the dwc out of the flood and drain i can only emagine how the roots would be doin if they had been in the DWC the whole time.
