So flowers are already in jars but still burping for extended hours to dry a bit slower. About to place Boveda packs in them. Terpene aromas are starting to become a bit more pronounced. I think throughout the mid to later parts of flowering I made a few hypotheses about the deficiencies and...

Hey Bri, so I upended the pots to store the soil in a tote today. From what I could observe is that the root ball was pretty extensive in growth, holding the soil firmly together as it appears to have grown into all areas of the pot, including the upper 1/3rd. The roots don't appear unhealthy, a...

Thanks @Yodaweed ! I think my next big question is whether to wet trim or dry trim, lol. I've heard its better to dry trim, that seems to be the consensus, if wanting to get a better dry with more flavors coming out. I think I can keep the tent at about 72ºF (22.2ºC), probably more like 75ºF...

Sorry to hear of your injury. Hope you've been able to find adequate treatment with this healing herb or some holistic approach. Gardening hobby for the win! Lol. Those blumats look great, will probably serve you well with whatever you're dealing with. :bigjoint:

I think I've managed to identify some N deficiency, though it could have been they were using less into flowering, but they seemed to yellow very quickly. So another thing I think that was going on was a Mag deficiency about mid flower. A bit earlier on and throughout the flowering I also think...

Lol, they've been progressively yellowing out and shriveling up, at which point I've either let them drop by themselves or pluck em and drop em as mulch.

I flushed out the soil 2 times during the grow (just to the point of runoff, about 500mL worth). Hard for me to say at this point what the deficiencies are as I think its been a compounding of issues and possibly caused to some degree from a lockout(?) Also the possibility that my pots aren't...

[Flower: Day 54]: So I think this cultivar could go to 9 weeks but with my circumstances I will probably cut the lights off this evening for about 40h and harvest on Sunday afternoon (which would mark the end of week 8 ). The swelling in the calyxes seem to have slowed a bit. The trichomes have...

Recycled Organic Living Soil (ROLS) and No Till Thread

Sorry @calliandra , I meant the family Glomus, not sure which specific species only work with cannabis. I heard from another group that only 2 species from the family Glomus are symbiotic with cannabis. Yes for me that thread shows that hemp grown with mycorrhizae could be beneficial in a...

Yeah, it's a given. Bacteria dominant soil doesn't exclude the fact that there are still fungus present in the soil. My understanding would tend to agree also that Cannabis may prefer a equal ratio (1:1) bacteria to fungus.

Recycled Organic Living Soil (ROLS) and No Till Thread

I think the general consensus is that the Cannabis plant prefers principally a bacterial dominated soil. I'm sure the fungus does convey some benefit in probably some round about way to this annual plant. From what I also understand is that there is just one set of endomycorrhizal fungi that...

Yeah no worries DonBrennon. I know this cause I had to redo my old basement due to flooding at one point, no fun. Hope you get it sorted out, for your plants and especially your health sake.

I think Kilz is a good product for a primer that seals out mold: http://www.kilz.com/ I'd look into what other treatments there are for mold. It's a pretty serious thing to have mold growth in your house, can lead to bad health conditions that I think get misdiagnosed. Hope you get that figured...

@hillbill hopefully looking a bit healthier than these girls tho ;-) Just a little preoccupied that they'll have what it takes to go another week or so, just with the progression of unhealthy looking fans and even some sugar leaves starting to curl upwards and discolor some.

So I'm thinking to maybe just run them to the end of week 7 (Sunday) and then put them in the dark for 36h before harvest. From what I could see using my 60x pocket scope, a bit more than half the trichs are milky (that was yesterday). The calyxes have shown some progressive swelling for about a...

Interesting how you have the lights set up in a 4x4. I've been thinking how 2 lights would work in such a space given the 2.5x2.5 flower footprint. Well today I gave a feeding of 5.4L mineral water (24ppm), 12mL BioBloom, 12mL BioHeaven, 4mL BioGrow, 15mL AlgAMic (kelp), 1tbsp oyster shell...
