I flush and change water only once a grow. I dunno, I've done it both ways and the easy way seems very attractive.

I add h2o2 at least twice a week. I don't think it sounds like you have a problem. The discoloration is probably from the nutes. If there is something wrong underneath, it won't take long to show up above.

I use Humboldt nutes and their separate cal and mag products. Their feeding schedule calls for either cal or mag at various points. A calmag combo would be simpler, but I'm doing it their way at least for now. I amy call them and pose that question though.

I only add back plain water. I'm unclear why I would want to add back a solution for which I can measure ppms, but have no idea what the proportions of any nutrient in it are. If I think more nutes are needed I add them fresh and in proportions I know are correct.

Don't melt anything. The air won't be pushed back into the pump, it will redistribute to the open outlets. To close two, just run a short piece of tube from one to the other - blocks them both.

Cement a very smooth piece of plastic (maybe a cd) that you don't mind leaving there to the bottom of the res. Then the pump will probably stick better to that.

I don't know why anybody bothers with autos, unless you have a space with 24 hr lighting for veg and want to run them in there. But, which depends on what you want. If you want a smaller plant, don't count on it. White Dwarf stays small and is high quality.

I still check trichs with a microscope but I can almost tell when to harvest without, but just watching the flowers for growth. When they don't seem to be getting any bigger, and the plants seem to have stopped taking up water, they're ready. How hard can it be getting a fan plugged in...

I run 4 independent dwc res, but I have plenty of time to tinker with it. Once you get it dialed in, it's easy.

I have not had that experience with potency in lower buds. My temptation with lollipopping is to get plants to fit the space. I like to grow 4 plants in a 4x4 space. Two plants left to their own would fill it. I'm trying tying plants with something like a belt (of string) to reduce their girth...

RO water should be 7.0. Mine is always 7.0. In fact I use it to calibrate the meter.

If you don't have an air cooled hood, with glass below the bulp, you will have to keep the light further from the plants. The AC hood is worth it for that reason - it can be closer to the tops which means you are getting more penetration further down.

I recommend starting with simple dwc. Invest next to nothing, learn a ton in the first grow. Then decide in what direction to expand.

seed has enough nutrients for the seedling to grow for the first 10 days. Your light nutes are probably not hurting now, but if you had it there from the beginning, maybe. White leaves are wrong. How is the seedling being fed? its roots aren't in the water yet.

You'll need more pointed questions that what are the risks and benefits of dwc.

It's not the number of plants but how well the space is utilized, and assuming it is well illuminated. Basically for limited space, it's a matter of going from vertical growing to horizontal growing. You can get there by growing many small plants in scrog, or a few large ones with lst.
