I use Neem Oil also - two bi-weekly applications seems to have solved my problem, as well as a spritzing for my younger plants that are showing no sign of the gnats - and hopefully won't. I saturated the topsoil with it, (mixed with warm water), seems to work well.:peace:

Honestly, with the exception of a few damaged leaves, overall she looks pretty healthy. The leaves start to die in flowering anyway.

Correct me if I'm wrong guys, but once pollinated, I believe the plant pretty much stops bud production to work on seed production.

Growth will be slowed by a temp and humidity that are too low (or too high)- however - unless somthing really strange is goin on at your house, there shouldn't be much fluxuation of the temps aside from lights out, and humidity should stay roughly within say a 10% range (for example - it's 40%...

The other thing to remember, is just like us, they start out more perky when they first "wake up" (when the lights turn on) and gradually, throughout their day, get tired and kind of droop down, as they get towards lights out.:peace:

It also makes a difference whether or not you are flowering already. If not, they may not show sex for two months or longer. :peace:

Your friend is wrong - remove the lid as soon as there is growth above ground. Too much humidity past that point can actually cause your baby to rot.

Did those leaves fall off by themselves or did you pull them off? The details about temps and humidity, and feeding/watering schedule will help, along with a pic of the whole plant.:peace:

I don't believe this is true. If so, than even allowing most of these conditions to be true, then you should see an increase in females right? Well - my first two grows - most of those conditions were met, yet one had 2 males out of 3, and the other, 2 females out of 20. Would be nice if that...

There isn't really any way to say "your're going to get X amount", too many variables from one grow to another.:peace:

I think White Widow flowers in 8 or 9 weeks. You can switch it whenever you like - biggest factor is your vertical space, they will stretch to twice or even three times their height, once in flowering. You need more light though - both for vegging and flowering. You want a minimum of 3000 lumens...

If you're just gonna use 'em for the first couple of weeks before the HPS, I would say grab a four pack of 26 or 27w CFL's - should be plenty for baby seedlings, and you can grab a four pack for around $12 at Lowes. Alternativly, you could get a shoplight that takes two T12 fluorescent tubes for...
