Is hydro that much Better than soil? Wanting the big yield in small numbers

Ya, last I knew DWC is a classic hydro system... even if he was splitting hairs I don't see the purpose, how would that help his point at all. Your getting off subject here...

Is hydro that much Better than soil? Wanting the big yield in small numbers

What I wrote did not pertain to the spread of airborne and waterborne pathogens, mainly because in the two years I've grown hydro I haven't had either one. You guys were discussion leaks, that's why i got back in on the convo. And please explain to me how I can "Overwater" in hydro especially...

Is hydro that much Better than soil? Wanting the big yield in small numbers

Meh, unless you mix your own soil or use soil with nutes already in it you still should do a ppm check on your nute solution and regardless you should still ph it. With soil you have to tend to pests, deal with dirt and overwatering or underwatering, water them every few days, and have a much...

Is hydro that much Better than soil? Wanting the big yield in small numbers

I just want to add something, I see you guys have been discussing leaks. Well I started in the attic so that was my number one concern. I'm not trying to start another research and experience argument again but I did the research on systems and created(not saying there aren't any like it out...

Is hydro that much Better than soil? Wanting the big yield in small numbers

"I find myself babysitting my plants in hydro. Growing in hydro has been a part-time job for me" "hydro is mainly for poeple who dont want to be in their garden constantly and that it" lol, in other words, take a lot of what you've read here with a grain of salt i guess...

Is hydro that much Better than soil? Wanting the big yield in small numbers

You sound like someone I would usually agree with or like. Just so happens this time we disagree a bit. I didn't mean to sound like I was bashing you specifically. I think the hydro gods just have it out for ya, lol, good luck the rest of the way. Hope it improves for ya.

Is hydro that much Better than soil? Wanting the big yield in small numbers

Organic: Of, or derived from living matter... and no, nutes are not stored in the leaves, they are stored in the roots, made into glucose and transferred up the stem to other parts of the plants...

Sannie's Jack Herer ~ jack f7, gonna be a long winter, wtf.

Did you take clones, I took some but man they are coming along slow, I usually have no problem with clones but they are taking a bit to root. They are still perked up and look healthy but I pulled the male clones and there were no starting roots and it was brown. It's been about a week. I...

Is hydro that much Better than soil? Wanting the big yield in small numbers

No, my buddies have stashes that sit in jars for months, we are medical growers, not sellers... They can't touch my 2 month + cured bud... nice try though.

Is hydro that much Better than soil? Wanting the big yield in small numbers

lol, ok now your being irrational and trying to measure dicks here. Comparing steroids to hydroponic nutrients is... ridiculous. You are VERY uninformed, nutrients whether "chemical" or "Organic" are not stored in the buds or leaves, they are stored in the roots, it's plant biology, look it...

Is hydro that much Better than soil? Wanting the big yield in small numbers

See, some hydro growers grow hydro because they are impatient in the first place, am I right? So do you really think they are going to wait for it to be fully cured? I think not. 2 Months is quite a bit but I said it to prove a point, of course I dip into my stash a week after it goes into...

Is hydro that much Better than soil? Wanting the big yield in small numbers

Well it depends on which harvest, look in my journal, that was the harvest of my first ever indoor hydro grow. Almost a pound and a half off of 2 monster NL plants and I had nute burn and harvested early. Had 16 mason Jars that weighed on avg. 30-32 grams, and 5 or 6 jars that were half the...

Is hydro that much Better than soil? Wanting the big yield in small numbers

I mentioned this in a previous post of mine but I believe the biggest problem with hydro growers is they don't let their bud cure long enough, it takes longer than soil IMO, I've smoked my buddies organic soil grown(mixes his own soil using something similar to subcools recipe) picked off the...

Is hydro that much Better than soil? Wanting the big yield in small numbers

I guess we'll agree to disagree but I must say, every comparison side by side grow I have seen, Hydro has blown soil out of the water. Again, I'm not saying if you know your stuff about soil and mix your own, you can't get the quality of Hydro, but you will never come close to hydro's speed...

Is hydro that much Better than soil? Wanting the big yield in small numbers

Yes, Experience is important, but if you have not done your research you can have all the experience in the world at doing it the wrong way and be knocking on a brick wall.. And when you say something like "expect more things to go WRONG than RIGHT. Pump failures, leaks, feeding tubes clog...
