You can do that, but make sure the roots have room to grow I don't think the pads would work, and I can't see the other image cuz it's so small, but activated carbon pellets from a fish store will work... SLB

Did you trim them yet? If you didn't, I'd trim off the leaves now, it gets harder when it's all dried up. Time depends on your bud and drying environment, but I'd say at least a week... SLB

I believe they all have an organic line(i.e. AN Iguana Juice, FF Grow Big, etc.) I'm not too fond of the fish fertilizer, I get better results with synthetics, and quite frankly, the stuff stinks!!! lol You can get an ounce or more with organics, but I'd veg for at least 4 weeks... SLB

Well, that again is a matter of genetics, because different strains prefer different amounts of nutrients. I don't know much about Blue Dream, so I wouldn't be able to specify on the amounts it prefers...
