make sure your grow box is sealed tight... and your exaust is beside your light sucking air out... 25' of ducting is a long way for a 265 cfm fan to push air out of... but if your exaust is right by your lighting source it will pull almost all the the heat off your light blow it out..

wrap your inline fan in some sort of insulation with duct tape around it hung from bungee cords in your grow room kind of beside your light... that way it'l pull heat off your hps and out of the grow room and push it outside... (hear rises) always place your exaust near the top, or liek I like...

you dont have to cut off both ends of the cord... just cut off the end that you plug stuff into and split that, strip it and wire it to your fan...
