You will have to keep your air circulating to provent mold. But if you stay on target, you might pull close to a pound, I would guess (sooo many factors, though).

First time grow I need some advice.

They actually look real nice-- Good job! I would say that you are over nuting them a bit. I don't think you have to go through a heavy flushing though; if growing in soil, just use plain water the next few times to the point where you get some runoff. The biggest problem you have, my friend...

Fruity Goodness: Jillybean, GDP and Strawbery Banana Kush

Seems like it's time for a bit of an update.... I'm a daddy! They're just starting to sprout. The two in the foreground are Strawberry Banana Kush-- psyched they both sprouted, cause I only bought two fems. The ones in the back are Jillybean. No GDP sprouts yet, but things are early just yet...

    Basic Set up/lighting

The 250w will cover roughly 2'x2' or so. enough for 1-9 plants, depending on growing style. By 'vertically' that grower might have meant that depending on the height of the closet, the veging plants can be on a shelf above the flowering plants (the 250w would hang from the shelf). The vegging...

regular and auto grow, take a look.

Ah, that clears things up nicely, Pits. I've never run an auto, so I know like zip about them. Didn't even know they grew out so quickly, lol. I can see how that would be useful sometimes.

Anyone know any legit seedbanks other than...

Just did a purchase with Herbies-- very good site, IMO.

regular and auto grow, take a look.

I'm curious why autos are a part of your grow and they aren't your whole grow. Most folks would either grow out regular or autos but not both. Why the mix?

regular and auto grow, take a look.

Sweet motherload, Pits! That is some grow you have going on. You must be one of those 'type A' people (overachiever), lol. It is good to see folks from around New England. I'm in Connecticut myself, but head up your way regularly to see friends and such. I'll have to follow your efforts-- I...

400w Club-Show Off Your 400w Pride And Joy

It is far from ghetto, but I have elimiinated my cold issues with a sub-floor heating mat. http://www.thermosoft.com/radiant-floor-heat/ It only uses 100 watts (for the 3x6), and since it heats the pots themselves, rather than the air, it is very efficient. I have no studies to back it up, but...

Fruity Goodness: Jillybean, GDP and Strawbery Banana Kush

I LOVE having the room, though it has taken me a year to pull it together. It's only a 3x7 flowering area, but it provides me plenty of room. I run a single 400w, but could squeeze in a second if needed (in the winter only-- too much heat for the summmer). BTW, I ran a 250w in my cab, and it...

Fruity Goodness: Jillybean, GDP and Strawbery Banana Kush

Thanks for stopping by, Pits. My temps get down into the mid 50s at night, so I'm hoping to get some good color on this run. It must be fun running your own crosses-- that will be one of my hobbies when I have some more time to give. I have really liked TGA, based on my limited experience (one...

Fruity Goodness: Jillybean, GDP and Strawbery Banana Kush

Thanks, man. I'm really psyched about my new grow room. I used to grow in a cab in the basement and had a bitch of a time with temps because I live in New England. I can get this room into the mid-70s conistantly, and that has made all the difference to me.

As promised, here are some pics of the crop I am running now.... First, an overview. I am 6 weeks in to flower; all of what you see from this angle is Bangi Haze from Ace. They have four more weeks to go. So far, I am impressed with the strain. They show good viggor and a fair amount of...

    Growing problems with the wife.

There are a lot of factors going into this that I know nothing about. Would you qualify for Michigan's MMP? If so, and you are wedded to growing, I think that option makes the most sense. How old are your kids? The older they are the more reasonable it is to push to grow on your own terms...

Best up and coming strains for 2014?

I'm hoping to see more backcrosses of solid strains this year, like Mosca's C99 BX, maybe a Grape Ape backcross. Too much F1 variability in today's market for small growers like myself (I only have room for 9 flowering plants and a couple mothers). For example, I love Vortex, but the variability...

Thanks Dee, I'll be growing out the Strawberry Banana Kush in my next grow-- you can follow the link in my sig to my journal (updating momentarily). After that, I'll run a Sativa Smack Down with the Jack, Kali Mist, Killing Fields, and Bangi Haze (Ace Seeds).
