I would go with this solution only because separating plants always causes more root damage than simply puting the whole dirt ball into a larger container.

32 degrees fahrenheit is freezing, same as 0 degrees celsius.

Yep, what RB said, plus, by the looks of your plants I'd guess they're mostly sativa.

The plant will grow 2-3 times it's current height after you start flowering so figure out tall you want it.

Looks a lot like the picture of heat stress here: https://www.rollitup.org/marijuana-plant-problems/216537-self-diagnose-your-plants.html However, it also looks like the picture of phosphorus deficiency. Looks like you have some serious phosphorous fert so it's probably not that.
