I've seen the Code Pink nuts at a number of congressional hearings this year. It's not like they went into the woodwork when Obama took office. Frankly theirs have been the only real faces I've seen in the supposed anti-war movement over the last several years, except perhaps for Cindy Sheehan...
I was thinking this kind of T5 array:

They have smaller ones of course depending on your space limitations. I use a...
My advice, keep it simple. I've resisted the urge to go aero just because I don't want to have to constantly deal with nutrient temperature. You don't need a dedicated 1000W light for veg. A bank of t5's will suffice. You probably only need 1/3 the wattage for a good veg area.
1. Finishing times begin when the plant start budding.
2. Weather elements can reduce trichs. As an indoor grower, I'm not too sure how outdoor growers deal with this.
3. Raw(unrefined) sugar can be used but it's no substitute for molasses. You should be able to find it at any grocery...
I don't think that receiver has anything to do with growing. A 1000W ballast will run $200-300, maybe cheaper on craigslist. You'll also need a good extraction fan because that light will get extremely hot. My advice, stick to CFL's as suggested.
Don't use it at full strength, start at around 25-50%(stuff is hot) and only increase if your plants respond well. Shake it up real good too because it's really thick.
Yes but it usually means per square meter, not per plant. Also, I can't really recommend a strain that doesn't smell. You'll have to deal with odor at some point.
Nothing about the LAPD surprises me. Apparently they don't have to worry about gangs anymore because they seem to have limitless resources for raiding dispensaries.
As LED prices continue to fall, I'm becoming more convinced they're perfectly suited for veg. I plan to set up a veg chamber when I can scrape together the cash and I think I'll be going the LED route.
