Noticed a zinc def with some of the clones so picked up some liguid fert for them, which I have started using on my flowering plant also. I'm applying it via the leaves with a spray bottle and following directions to the letter.

Can't wait to see what the outcome will be. Nothing lost from testing this out across the forum.

It might depend on what size grow you are planning. For example cfl's are purhaps better suited for closet grows because of heat and safety etc in a confined space. I also think your info about a 100 w cfl = 1000 w hps could be inacurate. I would guess that a 100 w cfl = 300 to 400 w of...

All the clones I took have started to grow and are looking healthy in their own space under 18/6 light while their mom is starting to flower under 12/12. :mrgreen: Thanks again for everyones help in this thread :blsmoke:

So in conclusion my first grow is now into day 8 of flowering and today seeing the start of actual flowers around the top nodes.:mrgreen:

With a big set up it might be best to spread the load over 2 or 3 mcbs' so if there is a fault you don't loose all your light.

Sorry to disappoint you, but those things you circled are called 'stipules' and every plant has them. The pre-flowers come out next to them almost between the branch and the stem. See the picture below... </IMG></IMG></IMG>

Yes I've found my first real flowers this morning at 8 days into 12/12 in the top, but I'm getting concerned about the pre-flowers lower down which started to appear last week - They don't look like balls or the pics of male pre-flowers, but maybe still too early to tell :-| so I'll keep a close...

I'm just a newb, but that plant and the one to it's right are in serious SHOCK. Like they say put your finger in the mix and if it feels dry then water and if it's saturated and the pot feels heavy then lay off watering and check the drainage, maybe even re-pot into a larger pot. Apparently...
