The CFLs arent really that necessary, but will help keep them compact and bushy but if you get the 150s close enough to the plants your stretch should be minimal.. 2 x 150w hps will give you something close to 30,000 lumens. I'll post a pic later of my cabs current inhabitants, theyre bushy...

If i am not using additional fans inside the cabs to blow on the plants, i usually setup my inlet in the middle of the cab so it blows on the plants, and the exhaust near the top to draw out the hotter air...If you can fit it towards the end of your light/reflector setup.

No,The bulb wattage you can run in the Ballast depends on whatever wattage lamp you get. A 70w HPS ballast wont run a 150w bulb, it will just keep trying to re-strike the bulb due to a lack of sufficient power and will eventually toast the ballast gear and the bulb. If you want to go 150w with...
