NZ 2014/15 Outdoor Questions & Your Journals :)

I've seen a patch last year with 3 different strains with no protection and the possums didn't touch them, maybe there's something to do with different strains in the same place detouring them from eating them.

    Open Show & Tell , Outdoors 2014

Hey everyone, have some (Black Domina x G13) x Orient Express plants vegging down here in New Zealand(37S). Using Mexican bat guano, seems to be working a treat because the weather has been unsettled for this time of year.

What will happen to my plants?

Pure or dominant indicas generally flower under 14/10 outside, depending on lat and strains they should keep flowering good until the equinox at the very least. Man you have warm temps for winter.

    5 Plants vs Less plants

Why not open ground growing? more yield potential and your asking very subjective questions that no one can truely accurately answer. All depends on your climate(if it favours indica or sativa) and how the season goes. Use Neem granules to keep pests away and you should be all good.

    Mullumbimby Madness - Help

Kangativa grows this, go onto ICmag and have a look at his grows. Bushweed may have this strain also. 20ft+ plants that yielded over 10lb, Colombian and thai genetics I think.

Yeah definitely warming up but the weather is still sub tropical as fuck with all the humidity, the other night my thermometer read 19 degrees in the middle of the night and I had to have the doors open the whole night lol. Perfect for vegging plants though. yeah with the grass growing crazy it...

Been real hot this week aye, sunday till today has been hot with the temps being around 24-26 with high humidity; some nights have been so hot that I couldn't get to sleep. Couldn't have asked for a better first month for my plants. Yeah not keen on leaving tracks too but I've entered my patch...

Update! looking really nice and healthy, growth has been amazing(18 days since last update) considering the wild November we've had. Tallest plant is about 70cm. To me the plants look more Orient Express dominant from the bigger longer and more blades per leaflet. Pics taken at...

Best strain for a newbie outdoors

lol fuck the strain hunter's garbage. So many different strains it hard to recommend just one but anything with Afghani/kush mountains lineage is a good start. Taskenti from Cannabiogen is a good tough landrace indica strain that can take a lot of nutes and has a very solid structure...

Lucky you get to grow in a greenhouse!, You could grow landrace sativas easily in greenhouses. Those earlier seeds probably went to flower because of early spring so you wont see sex for awhile. How tall is the green house?.

Sweet thats good then, they look real good considering the weather. Yeah same old up here, cool mornings and hot when the sun comes out. Windy as fuck at the moment too. Spring didn't really come late this year up here, it just came and never left lol. UV is 9.5+ around here so the plants still...

Still early in the season, top em for sure man. You wont see flowers till late January most likely, clones usually show pre flowers while vegging. Were the bagseeds from indoor or outdoor?, probably female seeds if they're from indoor.

NZ 2014/15 Outdoor Questions & Your Journals :)

haha yeah I've had that happen a couple times before. Depends on the situation, usually possums won't go near/through gorse. Plant far enough into gorse and you shouldn't have problems with animals but in areas with goats I'd definitely use cages. I have a theory about using different strains...

Crystals wouldn't do too much around the plant probably, tried it before and all it did was bring mealy bug infestation through the gel. Yeah who knows, I'd say there would be a few different phenos. Got any more pics of it?. My pheno has solid nugget buds instead of colas. Weather has been...

Also using the same water crystals lol, good growers think alike . Nice prep too bro, good to see someone else using superthrive aswell. If you ran out of granules just put some round the base of the plants that don't have any, good time at the moment too because there are no signs of...
