NZ 2014/15 Outdoor Questions & Your Journals :)

No outdoor pics mattskibop cause it was at night. Crazy weather today!!. Good to start off with, then bloody freezing till lunch. Then hot after 12. when I was driving home I got nailed by a hail storm(the hail was bigger than my thumb nail) and thought it was going to shatter my windscreen! -...

NZ 2014/15 Outdoor Questions & Your Journals :)

Too much water is no good in spring like I've learnt in the past lol. yeah that's pretty much it bro, sativas are real good for dry seasons cause the roots are so deep that it survives better than indicas - I wont use rain crystals on landrace sativas again because I didn't realise how drought...

NZ 2014/15 Outdoor Questions & Your Journals :)

Depends if seeds or clones. Clones before December need to be on a 15/9-16/8 light cycle to avoid flowering, seeds started outdoors won't flower if left outside from the beginning. Some indicas can flower under 14/10. From December onwards it's not a worry whatever light cycle

Outdoor grow, is my plant too small?

Lol its only November bro, still 3 months veg left. With 7 hours direct it'll grow atleast 8-10ft depending on climate/latitude and nutes. If it's sativa dominant and you say a couple hundred gallons? It'll grow into an absolute monster. Just planted mine last night. Equivalent to May for...

Sweet looking good mattskibop, probably better to have the light hours inside closer to outside light hours - 24/0 to say 14-15 will end up flowering most likely. Those buds look good for a winter grow. Put 6 out last night just before the rain which is good. Putting 2 bd13's and cotton candy...

How fast should plants grow outdoors?

So so many variables with this question but generally 2 inches a day in full veg. I've had landraces sativa outgrow 2 inches in a day though.

    Harvesting / Frost

Are there any clear trichs left? If not harvest now. It's better to harvest sativa with milky trichomes because at that point it has more thc than cbd, heavy indicas would be the opposite.

Might be too much water/moisture? some of mine have yellow tips but I think it's from too much moisture and not enough dry days. The cotton candy will get massive and produce a lot outside I reckon, my CC mother inside is really good - more frosty and sweeter than the last pheno. Your plants...

NZ 2014/15 Outdoor Questions & Your Journals :)

Man you guys need to order proper strains! http://www.herbiespicknmixseeds.com/ you could even just order a single seed and probably get at least 1 or 2 free on top that. It'll take under 10 days to get here. No point mucking round with bagseed when there's prime quality genetics to...

NZ 2014/15 Outdoor Questions & Your Journals :)

Sweet, how many watts of light you got on em?. Good time to be conditioning them to the sunlight at the moment cause they UV rays aren't excessively high to wilt them, probs just chuck them in full sun and they'll be all good bro. Cotton Candy is bloody good, the sativa pheno I have at the...

Your seeds are too young for N deficiencies. I don't think they would have out grown the pots this fast either. Maybe give them a little neem? I haven't feed my seedlings at all.

Ha yeah the taskenti is different alright. what lights you got on them?. Mazar is an Afghani right?. Cheers they're pretty similar looking which is a good sign, one of them is getting eaten by something so I'm spraying them with neem. Wish I could feed my plants with organic teas. There's a 50...

Not too sure but probably, makes sense to all be female since there was no actual male. Yeah they germinated really fast, like putting a non germinated seed in soil only took 2-3 days to pop up. Haven't grown Power Plant or Lavender but I'm asssuming I have a PP pheno, well it is a more sweet...

New Zealand outdoor thread 2013/14 (all kiwis post!)

Yeah budrot sucks, my Panama took a serious amount of rain to start to get mold over 10 days of pouring rain and no sun. Malawi is even more budrot resistant, lost about 10% to mold but I think the water crystals didn't help the situation. I'd say the Old Timer's Haze will be near impossible to...

Yeah taskenti is something special man, you'll love it. They look pretty good and vigorous so far, gonna dig a patch for some of them this weekend. Awesome, the cotton candy is definitely worth it - I'm gonna put a couple cotton candy singles out so it'll be good to see what pheno you get. I...

Yeah same for where I live, only 8km away from the ocean. No frosts last year and only a few proper ones this year. Seen a few journals where the old timers haze handles cold extremely well. Do you get many bug infestations over there? I get vine hoppers bad where I am so I'm using neem...
