From what I've read so far you can leave auto-flowering plants on the 24/0 or 18/6 cycle for the entire life as they will flower when they are ready.

Just noticed the light does come with a ballast but I'm assuming it's not a large bulky one like in the 400 watt and up HPS systems. I got the light for 64 shipped so I think I got a pretty good deal on it that's why I'm going with only a 150 watt.

Being a newb I'm curious to see what others have for an indoor setup. I have seen a few crazy setups but I'm just looking to grow a plant or two indoors. I don't want to spend a ton of money and am curious of the setups everyone is using for smaller amounts.

Is there somewhere I can find a list of what is all needed? I just would like to grow A (singular) plant for personal use.
