You probably do not need to be watering every 1 to 2 days. You should be letting the tops of the soil get totally dry before rewatering it. In my LIMITED experience this is anywhere between 3 and 7 days, usually 4 or 5. Is that a Fluorescent light? If so it needs to be really close to the plant...
