lol funny u put this i was just wondering the advatage to the smart pots could u enlighten me plz?

anything lower then 12/12 will induce flowering the only advantage i see in cutting it to 8 is to try and flower a bit quicker and this may promote more trichs but this is just my theory no fact behind this

ur room temps could also be causing this try to stabilize the night day temps. A 30 degree temp change causes the plant to stress out do u know ur RH?
