    Will water softeners provide enough....

The reason I ask is because if I don't supplement with calmag I run into def's in one of my strains during flowering. At one of my old spots the water was well and had to run through a water softener and I never used any supplements and didn't have any problems with it. These ladies are...

    Will water softeners provide enough....

But if your water softener is one that uses salt to soften the water, wouldn't that provide added magnesium the same as epsom salt would?

Just wondering if the salt used in water softeners is in any way the same as epsom salt thus providing extra magnesium?

    liquid organic fertz

I can't really recommend anything yet because I just got into using organics but I did get the alaskan fish emulsion and looked at the N source it had in it and it was ammonium nitrate which to my understanding is not an organic source of nitrogen..

    Can't figure this one out??!!

To avoid ph problems in the future all you have to do is add some dolomite lime to your soil and you'll never worry about ph again. I would say that your under feeding them, doesn't look like lockout to me ... I had this problem recently and thought it was due to high humidity but come to find...

    Magnesium nitrate VS. Magnesium carbonate

Can someone explain the difference to me? Botanicare's cal mag (1.2% magnesium) is made from magnesium nitrate and General Organics Cal Mag (5% magnesium) is magnesium carbonate. Now I have tried both at a rate of 2 teaspoons per gallon and the general organics works BY FAR way better. Does...
