it is the case. indoor growing is rarely worth the time without hydro application. even most indoor soil is grown with hydroponic fertilizers and elaborate or automated irrigation systems. dwc for big bushes and ease. probably the quickest and cheapest way to go for singular big shrubs.

hay usually cures out to fruity, and yes, it is normal for some plants to smell that way soon after chopping. most of the better strains will have a "ready" smell and taste after being freshly dried, and curing is not necessary. cure for a week, the smell will change slowly but surely

they look great for 8 weeks. for the yellowing at the veins add cal/mag 1tsp per gallon to your normal nute mixture. use every res change, both in veg and flower. cal/mag is great stuff.

that it does. 2-4 weeks usually (for stretch), a bit longer for full sativas. however, vertical growth doesn't really stop until harvest... even after the stretch the plants do grow vertically, packing on flowers.

gh in dirt is no problem. as for the plants, they look like they're booming to me. plants that are growing extremely fast will usually bubble or curl down. unless you're seeing other issues like yellowing or burnt tips, i wouldn't worry a bit.
