What would make a plant finish in two months vs 4 months?

Ya im returning my aerogarden tomorrow. Gonna buy a stealth pc grow case yo should check them out. ya that would be nice if i had the room for those, but its winter and i think im going to have to grow under my bed because my closet doesnt have an outlet in it.

i think im going to start out with two of the strongest ones a home depot if they are a good price.

They will be in a any about 2X2. gGrowing in soil if that makes a difference

Well, my biggest problem is stealth. This would easily fit under my bed and i have outlets right there. Yield doesn't matter to me i'm just experimenting right now.

So the first two nodes will never have any bud ? Is it possible to clip above the first two nodes then plant that part you cut off and have a small plant with bud on it? Given that yield is not a concern.
