I use humic acid by Humboldt nutes and its great, plants love the stuff. Also if your not using RO water and just let it sit out over night you should be fine without calmag in most cases.

It isn't that you need room to walk around inside the tent, but your going to need room to be able to get to the plants once they get to be larger. Most tents are designed to fit the trays perfectly just make sure your plants aren't so big you cant turn them around and get in there to check...

DO NOT overwater them. Just water them right before you leave, a little more then usual and raise your light as stated. Your plants can go a pretty good time without water, much longer then a week.

Honestly i would stay away from gravity man..... It doesn't do anything to help your plants out. It add's WEIGHT. So if your looking to sell it then sure use it, but it isnt going to increase your yield just the weight. It'll be like having buds already soaked in water.... really hard...
