It's an old thread but never to late to spread the word some more. picked some up a week ago and used it on 3 of 6 plants and it really did clean the roots as well as promote allot of growth. It also seems to work really good on PM.

Just harvest the plant when its done and then afterword's cut that plants roots out as good as you can, you'd be amazed how easy they pull apart sometimes also. left over roots shouldn't hurt your plants.

Just found this on Google search lol, I had the same question. I think scarhole is right AK48 is supposed to be a really good yielder as well as being potent. If I could recommend the bubblelicious to you also I think it is defiantly what your looking for, this stuff taste and smells AMAZING...

I had algae do the same thing to my 6 inch cubes and it didnt hurt anything just put a piece of coco or something on top of it like chuby said and your fine.

what up guys I have 5 plants total and 2 were originally clones in soil(source of aphids). I'm 3 weeks into veg from clone and noticed aphids all over the roots on one plant so i just washed the roots and put it in soil outback. All the others seem to have only a handful of visible aphids...

So I'm having some crazy results with rhizotonic compared to humboldt roots and its allot more bang for your buck, not to mention it doesn't stain roots black. I definitely recommend this to everyone.

Sounds like you cured your problem by changing the rez. Just make sure you never drastically increase your ppm or else that could happen. The roots in the water shouldnt be a problem if you have an airpump and airstone in the water delivering oxygen to the roots, I doubt this is right...

I'm sure your clones are in a 1 or 2 inch grodan cube right? Whats probably happening is your dripper is overwatering the medium. Make sure the cube inst super heavy and soaking wet. I did that with my first hydro grow to a few clones it sucked.
