Don't wait a month, they'll outgrow the T-5's in that amount of time in my opinion. I say keep them short, and maybe lst to maximize yield. I always see uneven maturity in tall plants flowered under floro's, short plants=fat nugs for indoor grows.

Your friend is definitely growing in my opinion. Very few are able to pick up high quality bud like that of several different strains that hasn't been crushed and mis-handled. He is almost making it obvious, smoking you up so hardcore, that kind of pride only comes with growing it yourself...
