Problem is that you should have light coverage of your whole plant, all the time (excluding dark time). The fact that only part of the plant is getting light at a time is really going to slow progress.

Daylight floros are blue spectrum, not orange/red. You use daylight spectrum for vegetative growth and WARM white for flowering. Warm white are the red/orange spectrum. MH and HPS are both HID light systems, and are FAR more effective for indoor growing, but not because of their power...
