For All Cap Ebb and Grow Users

I'm going to try something with a little more Nitrogen and Micro nutes. The Lucas blend of 8ml/gallon of FloraNovaBloom has treated me very well for a long time now but on occasion, depending on strain, I get some early yellowing of lowers and fan drop. Some more N in the mix should fix that. I...

Yea, as my water level drops my ppm stays nice and flat at about 1000 @.5 . I've had pretty good luck with it but the blend has to be right and the uptake on the system has to be really healthy. If you're not adding back at least 75% of the water volume when doing this then there is too much of...

Nice dependable reliable chemicals. Rep+ Al. Again  I can testify to the effectiveness of H2O2. I run a 55 gallon tank rez and addback nutes with my water on a very careful scale keeping ppms in check and i go a full month on a single rez before change. Using 35% H2O2 at 2ml/l every 3-4...

They way the 6 plant thing works is this: If you sign a caregiver they have the right to grow up to your 6 plants. The state wants 6 plants per license. They may not get it but that is what they want. Now, most caregivers don't grow their limits so you can still grow your plants and get their...

You're right. 3 properly vegged plants should produce well over the 56 gram limit per patient even under a small HID light like a 250. I don't think I've ever heard of a patient begin popped for being over the dry meds limits. Most of the time, if you get in trouble, you are over plant # without...

You are allowed 6 plants but only 3 in bloom. The limits are ridiculously low. It boils down to medical need in the eyes of the court if you and the DA wanna take it that far.

No, the myco i've used was back in dirt. The copper i was referring to was a process of spraying the inside of the pots with copper oxide so the roots get chemically pruned when they hit it to prevent spinout. I've not done that one myself but my good friend used to b4 switching to smart pots...

I said 6 months so you have a chance to go through a couple times. Treating roots, you mean with myco? Yea. Copper too. I'm actually considering changing to the smart pots as they work really well. All these things help to a degree but they are not miracle workers. You will never push the plant...

Putting them in a cup with saran over it is the same as a humidome. Only needed for the first couple days if at all (I don't use a dome at all and I have not lost a clone in over a year.) The heat mats w/o thermo are good unless the ambient temp gets above about 80. The heat mat will raise the...

Uncle Ben's Gardening Tweeks and Pointers

Kind of off topic but I'' humor ya, Proper ventilation is very important. Don't skimp on fans or you will have temp issues, especially when the hotter summer months roll around. If your garden temperature is more than about 10 degrees warmer than the ambient temp in your house you need more...

You have to figure your yield as a % of your lighting. The figure you are using of 3/4 lb per plant is crazy unless you are using 1 600W per plant and vegging for months. Figure your yield at about .5 grams per watt and you should be able to get there without to much trouble.
