Hortilux is top of the line HPS lighting. Tried and true for many years. You wont be disappointed. You mean as they got older they grew better? Interesting. :dunce::bigjoint: 50w per sq ft is the target you use when building the op calculating it for final garden size at...

I agree 100%. I still think you are creating issues where there are none.

Yellowing leaves, micro nutes? ~40 days into flower.

When using standard nutrients a agree fully. The canna-specific nutes and additives out there are a different story. Jacks Classic bloom has Mg in it already but the all purpose does not. Just an FYI. Add a tsp of epsom to a gallon of feed or regular water once a month when feeding with...

Help! My plants are doing too well!

It's a boy! :bigjoint: Anything over 50/50 female is a bonus so if you already have 5 confirmed females you are doing good.

This is a much better graph for a decent HPS. CMH are still relatively new and I've not used them myself. It is HID so I have hopes but a lot of their marketing sounds suspiciously like LED marketing. Bang for the buck.

    Help! Losing all my leaves!

Rep+. Another good alternative for keeping organic feeds from going N deff is to add some bloodmeal to your mix early on.

Cool graph. Primary liming factor of photosynthesis in cases of light saturation is available co2. Sum of the parts and what not.... Here is my take on lighting..... Density target = 50 watts per sq ft. This in NOT a hard line number. You can get good growth with 20, it will just be slower...

    Help! Losing all my leaves!

Rep+ Great advice. :bigjoint: I've seen this a lot with the FF line when using an inert medium like promix. The bloom formulas a criminally low in nitrogen and there is nothing already in the soil to help you along. Up the amount of growbig in your feed and back off the PK boosters. Or...

    Removing older fan leafs

Leave em alone. If they are still green they are producing carbo foods for the plant. Don't remove any fans unless they are dead. You can spend $$ on carbo additives or you can leave as many healthy, food producing fans on as possible clear till the end. Your choice. :bongsmilie:

Yellowing leaves, micro nutes? ~40 days into flower.

15-30-15 should be cool. I agree with the earlier posts that as long as its only a couple of leaves IN THE SHADE then no worries. If its happening to fan leaves getting light, even lowers, you have something amiss. Looking at your fert I don't see any Mg. You might try adding 1 tsp of epsom...

Help! My plants are doing too well!

Supercrop is your friend. Pick the spot you want the bend to be in the main stem and pinch it between your thumb and forefinger until it pops, then bend it over 90 degrees. Most of the time it will stay there and a knuckle will form at the bend as it heals. You may have to support the top of the...

trimming fan leaves in last week of flower

If the leaf is dead remove it, If its still green, it's producing carbo foods for the budsite (you know, the stuff people add in, sometimes at high $$, to counter leaf removal?). Leave it alone.

Wait. You are talking about screening your exhaust to prevent mites? Holy cow, man. Try to relax. That is totally unnecessary.

For All Cap Ebb and Grow Users

I'm lucky, my tap is about 50ppm so no RO for me. Is your fill water ice cold? What's the heater for? Room temp should be fine giver proper aeration. If anything, I'd think a water chiiler (cold water holds more o2) would be more relevant, especially in the summer months. I'm debating on...
